A rapid pulse and an umbilical cord wrapped around the fetal neck is not an indication for a caesarean section. During the pregnancy follow-up, you had to consult a cardiologist to obtain a conclusion on the method of your delivery.

Previously, the umbilical cord crossing occurs only in the case of a child born in a serious condition, when it must be immediately separated from the mother and begin to punish resuscitation measures or any other emergency medical care. The child is applied to the breast immediately in the delivery room after being examined by a neonatologist, primary treatment (vaseline). The newborn is kept by the mother in the delivery room for the entire early postpartum period-2 hours after delivery next to the mother (if his condition allows it and he does not require intensive monitoring and emergency follow-up).
Regarding swaddling, the question is a little more complicated - according to the rules of the maternity hospital, the newborn after the initial examination by a neonatologist and the initial treatment is swaddled in STERILE diapers and is next to the mother.
