In the Lipetsk region, a new measure of social support is being actively implemented - the issuance of prescriptions for the purchase of medicines for patients with coronavirus

Patients diagnosed with COVID-19 are provided with preferential medicines from November 2020. During the month , almost 7 thousand prescriptions worth more than 4 million rubles were issued in the region.

These drugs are delivered to the patient's home from the polyclinic by medical workers and volunteers. So, only for yesterday's day the district doctors of the Lipetsk city polyclinic No. 7 gave 15 patients prescriptions for the purchase of free medicines.

Currently, 380 patients with COVID-19 are treated on an outpatient basis at the clinic. Reception is conducted by 12 general practitioners and general practitioners, as well as narrow specialists are involved in providing medical care to patients with COVID-19: rheumatologists, pulmonologists, cardiologists.

In order to maintain a social distance between patients, the time between doctors ' appointments has been increased.
