Volunteers of the Lipetsk Medical College work in medical organizations of Lipetsk

54 volunteers were sent to work in the primary health care of the city. The group was created from the number of students enrolled in the programs of secondary professional medical and pharmaceutical education of the Lipetsk Medical College.

College volunteers provide assistance to medical organizations in the following areas: answer the phones of the " hotline lines", carry out thermometry and entrance control, work with documentation in the registry, participate in the organization of patient flows and accompany them to the offices of specialists.

Students work in the largest healthcare institutions of the city: GUZ "Lipetsk City Emergency Hospital No. 1" (polyclinic No. 3), GUZ "Lipetsk City Hospital No. 3 "Svobodny Sokol", GUZ " Lipetsk City Hospital No. 4 "Lipetsk-Med", GUZ "Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 1", GUZ "Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 2", GUZ " Lipetsk city polyclinic No. 4", GUZ "Lipetsk City polyclinic No. 5", GUZ "Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 7".

During the working week, the practical training department of the college clearly monitors the work of volunteers in primary care medical organizations. The main result is gratitude and repeated words of appreciation from the managers medical institutions.

In addition, the administration of the college sent another 30 students to medical organizations that provide assistance to patients with COVID-19. They have successfully completed their training at the GAU DPO "Center for Postgraduate Education" and are currently undergoing a medical examination, after which they will start working.
