Every year in all countries of the world, the first Monday of October marks the holiday of the people of one of the most respected professions — International Doctor's Day.

On the eve of the holiday on October 02, 2020, the Health Department of the Lipetsk region held a solemn opening of the updated Honor Board "Labor Glory of Health care of the Lipetsk region" and honoring medical workers who were awarded the honorary title "Honored Health Worker of the Lipetsk Region" in 2020.

The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Administration of the Lipetsk region A. I. Ilyin, Head of the Department Health care of the Lipetsk region Yu. Yu. Shurshukov, Head of the LOO "Association of Medical Workers" S. A. Shinkarev, chief doctors of medical organizations of the region and other officials.

Currently, the Vlipetskaya region employs almost 27,000 medical workers, including about 4,000 doctors and more than 11 000 average medical workers. Every year, medical workers are awarded state, departmental and regional awards for merits in the field of health care and long-term conscientious work for a professional holiday or for anniversaries. In 2020, they received a well-deserved assessment of their contribution to regional health care 483 medical workers, including:

30 medical workers were awarded the honorary title " Honored Health Worker of the Lipetsk region»;
69 people were awarded the badge " Excellent health worker»;
98 people with the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;
26 people with the Certificate of Honor of the head of the administration of the Lipetsk region;

21 people with the Jubilee Medal " For the Glory of the Lipetsk region»;
125 people were encouraged by the Gratitude of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation;
65 people were encouraged by the Gratitude of the head of the administration of the Lipetsk region;

Also in 2020, diplomas were awarded and regional bonuses were paid to medical workers who achieved special results in in the healthcare sector:

In addition, in 2020, the winner of the All-Russian competition of doctors in the category "Best Pediatrician" was the deputy the chief doctor of the GUZ "Yeletskaya City Children's Hospital" Arkhipova Anna Vladimirovna.

Currently, the region is successfully implementing measures of social support for medical workers, aimed at attracting and securing specialists in state medical organizations of the region. Annually for these purposes from more than 100 million rubles are spent from the regional budget.

Regional legislation provides for social payments for the purchase or construction of housing for doctors in short supply specialties – since 2013, more than 100 doctors have used this support measure, the total amount of payments is 63 million rubles. Monthly expenses for payment of housing and communal services and rental of residential premises are compensated.

Last year, the regional law was adopted, increasing the amount of compensation for rental housing for doctors of state medical organizations of the region located on the territory of municipal districts of the region and doctors in short supply specialties in Lipetsk and Yelets, one-time payments for secondary medical staff doubled, for the first time a new measure of social support "Governor's million" for doctors has been approved for those who are employed in the ambulance service deficient specialties. During the year of implementation of the program, 42 doctors were involved in medical organizations in the region, another 4 the specialist is scheduled for employment in the near future.

The implementation of the federal programs "Zemsky Doctor" and "Zemsky Paramedic" continues, within the framework of which, doctors one-time compensation payments in the amount of 1 to 1.5 million rubles are provided to the average medical staff from 500 to 750 thousand rubles. As part of the implementation of the programs, 18 specialists came to the health care of the region this year.

In order to increase the level of motivation of young doctors who have completed their residency to return to health care institutions, those who sent them to study in the specialties, at the expense of the regional budget, a monthly scholarship is provided residents who are trained in the framework of the target admission. Graduates of secondary vocational medical institutions those who are employed in the positions of specialists with secondary medical education in paramedic and midwifery centers are provided with a one-time payment in the amount of 50 thousand rubles.

In addition, scholarships are provided to students who are sent for targeted training in medical universities. Every year, about 200 citizens of the Lipetsk region enroll in targeted training in specialty and residency programs in leading medical institutions. Universities of the country. During the study period, "target" students and residents receive a regional scholarship.

According to the results of 9 months of 2020, 96 young doctors were employed in the state medical organizations of the region, of which 62 people were educated under contracts on targeted training.
