The doctor-epidemiologist of the city of Lipetsk was among the 50 best medical workers in the country.
Alexey Zvyagin, an epidemiologist at the Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and IZ and the regional coordinator of the Medical Volunteers movement, entered the full-time stage of the School of Leadership in Healthcare competition. He became the only Lipchanin who entered the top 50 participants from all over the country.
Alexey Zvyagin is a young specialist who has been engaged in preventive medicine in the Lipetsk region for several years. He is actively working in the region to prevent socially significant diseases, such as drug addiction, tobacco smoking, alcoholism and HIV infection. Earlier, the Lipetsk doctor participated in the regional leadership contest "Lead by Yourself", where he also won a prize.
Alexey Zvyagin decided to take part in the "School of Leadership in Healthcare", because such competitions are a great opportunity to realize themselves and show their own capabilities, to present their ideas to the general public.
The correspondence stage of the All-Russian competition included two weeks of training with tests, theoretical and practical parts. According to Alexey, some particularly difficult tasks could take a whole day to complete, but all the tasks were very interesting, relevant and close to reality, so the training time flew by quickly.
At the face-to-face stage, Alexey Zvyagin and 49 other participants will meet with the top officials of the Ministry of Health and work under the guidance of experienced mentors.
