The action "Youth for healthy lifestyle" united more than 100 students of the Lipetsk Metallurgical College
In the Lipetsk region, active work continues to promote a healthy lifestyle (HLS) and the prevention of socially significant diseases among children and youth. So, last week at the Lipetsk Metallurgical College in an entertaining interactive format, the first action of this year "Youth for healthy lifestyle" took place, in which more than 100 students took part.
In the lobby of the educational institution, doctors organized the work of interactive platforms. Everyone took part in quizzes on the principles of rational nutrition and prevention of HIV infection. Young people answered questions with interest, discussed actions that would help them maintain their health, and also asked a lot of counter-questions.
Of great interest to those present was the site where they were offered an examination on a smokelizer - a device that allows you to determine whether a person smokes, how often, whether he belongs to a high-risk group.
In addition, the participants of the action underwent anonymous rapid testing for HIV infection.
Everyone received printing and souvenir products on the basics of healthy lifestyle and physical activity, prevention of smoking and alcoholism, as well as HIV infection.
Then the students took part in an extensive information and educational program in the classrooms of the institution.
Thus, specialists of the Lipetsk Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention offered students to take part in the brain-ring intellectual game "We are for a healthy lifestyle". Two teams competed in knowledge about the basic principles of healthy lifestyle, answered questions about harmful and healthy food, the number of calories consumed, vitamins.
An employee of the Lipetsk regional narcological dispensary told about the most insidious and dangerous enemies of man – bad habits. At the video lecture, the attention of the children was drawn to the negative irreversible consequences of smoking, alcohol, and drugs.
A specialist of the Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases conducted a video lecture on HIV infection. The participants of the event realized that the problem of HIV infection concerns everyone today.
In addition, a doctor of the Lipetsk Regional Neuropsychiatric Hospital at a master class on the prevention of stress and depression explained how stress can be prevented. The audience learned that the best helpers of a person in the fight against negative emotions are rest, proper nutrition, sports, etc.
The event was organized by the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention together with the Lipetsk Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases, the Lipetsk Regional Narcological Dispensary and the Lipetsk Regional Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
It is worth noting that in total in 2023 it is planned to hold 10 actions "Youth for healthy lifestyle" in secondary special educational institutions of Lipetsk.
