Vaccination of teenagers has started in the Lipetsk region

The region received the first batch of the drug "Sputnik-M". 720 sets were distributed to children's polyclinics in Lipetsk, Yelets and a number of districts of the region. In total, about five thousand doses are expected.

The vaccine "Sputnik M" or "Gum-Covid-Vak M" is intended for immunization of adolescents aged 12 to 17 years inclusive. The drug is two-component, as is Sputnik V. However, in its composition, the dose of the active substance is five times lower than in the "adult" version. Children under 15 will be vaccinated with the written consent of their parents, those who are older will make a decision on their own.

Sputnik M vaccination is done in children's polyclinics No. 2 and No. 5 of the Lipetsk City Children's Hospital, as well as in polyclinics of Yelets, Lipetsk, Usmansky and Dankovsky districts.

What documents are needed? Consent to vaccination (if the child is under 15 years old, then from the parent / legal representative, if older, then from himself), birth certificate / passport, SNILS (to obtain a certificate on the website of public services).

Contraindications for immunization of adolescents are severe allergic reactions, acute infectious and non-infectious diseases, exacerbation of chronic diseases, hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine. Before the injection, the child will be examined by a pediatrician - he will measure pressure, saturation and temperature.

To date, more than 200 teenagers of the Lipetsk region have been vaccinated with the first component of the Sputnik M vaccine.
