Modern methods of treatment of patients with acute coronary syndrome in the vascular centers of the Lipetsk region.
Today, there are 2 regional vascular centers equipped with X-ray operating rooms for percutaneous coronary intervention on the territory of the Lipetsk Region: on the basis of the Lipetsk Regional Clinical Hospital and the City Emergency Hospital No. 1, as well as 3 primary vascular departments on the basis of the Yelets City Hospital No. 1 named after N. A. Semashko, the Lebedyanskaya Central District Hospital, and the Usman Central District Hospital, from which patients are subsequently transferred to regional vascular hospitals. centers.
Every year, about 3,000 diagnostic procedures (coronary angiography) are performed in regional vascular centers, about 2,000 of which end with angioplasty and stenting of the coronary arteries.
In the treatment of acute myocardial infarction and unstable angina in the departments of regional vascular centers, doctors use modern intensive therapy in combination with selective coronary angiography and operative myocardial revascularization (balloon angioplasty, stenting of the infarct-associated coronary artery), conduct preoperative preparation, rehabilitation after stenting of the coronary arteries, refer patients to cardiac surgery centers of the country.
All patients admitted to the intensive care unit for patients with acute myocardial infarction are monitored for vital body functions with multifunctional heart monitors that assess the frequency and rhythm of heart activity, violations of automatism and conduction of the heart, respiratory rate, hemoglobin oxygen saturation and body temperature. The recorded data coming from the bedside monitors are displayed on the central console, where there is always a medical staff on duty who is able to provide qualified resuscitation assistance at the first alarm signal.
"For 6 months of 2021, 1459 patients were treated in the walls of the regional vascular center located on the basis of the Lipetsk Regional Clinical Hospital within the framework of the national project "Healthcare" (fight against cardiovascular diseases), 1179 coronary angiographs were performed, 1046 of them with stenting," says the chief freelance cardiologist of the Health Department of the Lipetsk Region, A. I. Gindler.

After discharge, patients who have suffered an acute myocardial infarction are sent for rehabilitation to sanatorium institutions in Russia.
