Lipetsk Regional Perinatal Center and SONKO of the region for the first time joined forces to improve the demographic situation

On May 12, 2021, an online seminar "Prevention of artificial abortion, promotion of healthy lifestyle+1" was held for medical volunteers of the Lipetsk region.

Volunteers from Yelets, Lipetsk and Usmani took part in the format of open speeches and conversations.

The goal is to prevent artificial termination of pregnancy, promote positive family values, family planning and the birth of children.

The training was organized by specialists of LRO VOD "Medical Volunteers", LOO" Russian Red Cross "and GUZ"Lipetsk Regional Perinatal Center".

The chief reproductologist of the region, head of the Department of Women's Health and Reproduction of the State Medical Institution "LOPTS", O. V. Telegina, told the audience in more detail about the situation on the prevention of artificial abortion in the Lipetsk region.

The speaker from Moscow, pediatrician, expert in the field of evidence - based medicine, deputy head of the project of comprehensive prevention of abortions-M. B. Debryanskaya, Candidate of Medical Sciences, shared with the audience the experience of implementing measures to prevent abortions, improve the demographic situation and implement the project of comprehensive assistance to crisis pregnant women "Plus One". She appreciated the work carried out by the medical community of the Lipetsk region in this direction, and also positively noted the development of medical volunteerism, indicating which aspects of prevention, in the future, it is necessary to focus the attention of listeners.

During the online seminar on topical issues of prevention of sexually transmitted infections and HIV infection among young people, the doctor of dermatovenerology of the Lipetsk Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases, M. P. Sukhorukova, also spoke.

"This is the first time that representatives of a volunteer organization, a socially oriented non-profit organization, and a state medical organization have interacted in this way. This is a new experience and, I am sure, it will become a good example of close partnership in the field of prevention of artificial termination of pregnancy in the Lipetsk region " - said the coordinator of the LRO VOD "Medical Volunteers" Zvyagin A. A.

At the end of the event, the chairman of the LOO "Russian Red Cross" - Kolcheva L. A., spoke about the mechanisms of implementation of the planned measures for the prevention of artificial abortion, the promotion of positive family values in the Lipetsk region.
