Specialists of the AIDS Center held the first online seminar on HIV prevention among young people and training of volunteers in the field of health protection
On October 14, 2020, the first online seminar dedicated to the prevention of HIV infection among young people and the training of volunteers in the field of health protection was held. To conduct classes in the onlinethe specialists of the Center learned how to work on various internet platforms.
The event was attended by 5 educational organizations of secondary vocational education of the Lipetsk region. During the online class, students expanded their knowledge of HIV infection, transmission routes and protection measures, as well as learned about the forms and methods of conducting information and educational activities among various target groups. In the future, the most active students will continue to work on the prevention of HIV infection in educational organizations in the region.
The new format of preventive work will be used by the Center's specialists in the future. This will allow you to continue continuous informing of the population of the Lipetsk region and training of volunteers in the field of HIV prevention in the context of restrictive measures for coronavirus infection.
It is planned to involve students of higher education in this form of information and educational work, as well as high school students and teachers of secondary educational organizations in Lipetsk and the districts of the region.
