Completely healthy! Patients diagnosed with coronavirus were discharged from the Lipetsk Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital

On March 19, three patients were discharged from the GUZ hospital "Lipetsk Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital", who were diagnosed with coronavirus on March 6.

During the treatment, the patients were placed in isolated Melzer boxes, where they received full etiological therapy with specific antiviral drugs, as well as pathogenetic therapy.

In all patients, the disease was mild, and the treatment was well tolerated. The frequency of surveys met the requirements of the regulatory documents. The patients were discharged in a satisfactory condition. As of March 19, 2020, there are no patients diagnosed with coronavirus in the Lipetsk region.

- "One of the important points in the treatment was the lack of contact between doctors and patients. To do this, all examinations and visits were carried out strictly in protective suits. Of course, it was a little scary. But, despite the difficult situation, there was no such thing that any of the staff refused to work. At the moment, in the GUZ "Lipetsk Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital" with the diagnosis ARVI there are 2 patients who have been in contact with those infected with coronavirus.

Some approaches were already tested several years ago during the swine flu outbreak. Today's discharge indicates that the doctors did everything as needed. And we can say with confidence that the transferred disease will not affect the further health of patients, " - said the head of the Health Department of the Lipetsk region-Yuri Shurshukov.

The Health Department of the Lipetsk Region, in close cooperation with the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Lipetsk Region, carries out a round-the-clock complex of medical and diagnostic, preventive and anti-epidemic measures aimed at preventing and preventing the spread of coronavirus infection.

In polyclinics and hospitals of the region, measures have been taken to maximize the service of patients from risk groups at home, to differentiate the flow of somatic patients and patients with acute respiratory viral infections, community-acquired pneumonia.
