On February 17, 2020, the next preventive action "Cardiodesant"was held in the Universal shopping Center.
More than 50 people took part in it, 38 of them were examined by specialists of the Health Center.Diagnosis of the heart within half an hour is real. Without an appointment with a doctor and completely free of charge, all interested visitors of the shopping center were able to undergo an examination using a cardiovisor and receive a screening computer assessment of the heart condition.
This device not only sees disturbances in the heart, but also predicts their possible occurrence in the future. It helps to identify an ischemic disease or the cause of an arrhythmia by showing the problem areas on the screen.As part of the preventive campaign, participants could measure their blood pressure, find out their anthropometric data (height, weight, waist size) and calculate their body mass index; as well as get advice from a doctor at the Health Center.
In addition, on this day, the visitors of the Universal shopping Center had a unique opportunity to learn the correct technique of "Nordic walking" on a special simulator and undergo counseling on physical activity.There were also information platforms for the participants of the campaign, where everyone could participate in a quiz on the knowledge of the main risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases and get printed products for the prevention of socially significant diseases.
Young visitors of the shopping center were offered to design a special art object "Healthy Heart" and fill it with the right habits that will help keep the heart healthy for many years to come.Currently, reducing mortality from cardiovascular diseases, increasing the average life expectancy, as well as attracting the population to undergo preventive examinations is one of the important areas of regional health.
In this regard, in the territory of the Lipetsk region, for several years, a preventive action "Cardiodesant"has been held in various shopping centers and places of mass stay of people.In 2020, the campaign continues its work in the regional center. During the year, "Cardiodesant" will be held regularly in the largest shopping and entertainment centers of Lipetsk.
The organizers of the event are the Lipetsk Regional Center for Medical Prevention, together with the Health Centers of the Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 2 and the Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 7, as well as the Regional Medical and Physical Education Dispensary.
