Five rules for a healthy heart in the fall

05.09.2019

Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of adult death in our country. You need to be especially careful in the fall – after all, it is in the fall that we return from vacations, rush headlong into work, and it gets cold around, which, oddly enough, can also indirectly affect the heart. Here are five simple rules that will help you more easily move back to work in the "depressive" time of the year.

  • Prepare autumn in summer
Before you go on vacation, organize your affairs so that you do not have to clear up the rubble that has accumulated during two or three weeks of your absence and do not have to sit at work late.
  • Keep walking
10,000 steps a day is not just a whim of the World Health Organization, but the minimum required amount of physical activity for the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system. In summer, they are easier to recruit: the weather is good, you can walk. In the fall, you need to force yourself. And yes, don't flatter yourself: you definitely don't find that much in the office.
  • Chat with your friends
Autumn is a time of what is called household depression. This is not a disease, however, many heart problems have a psychosomatic component. Therefore, be able to find ways to cheer yourself up. Communication with your loved ones is what you need!
  • Don't get sore on your feet
Autumn is the time of the beginning of the season of respiratory diseases. Colds or acute respiratory infections-from any ARI to a specific flu. Acute forms of diseases are fever 38, runny nose, cough… And yet, many people persistently endure such a disease "on their feet". However, if there is at least a minimal opportunity to keep the temperature-it must be done. One of the worst complications of such infections is a heart complication.
  • Get some sleep
This is very important, especially in conditions of reduced daylight hours. At least one person should sleep seven to eight hours a day. And to do this, you will have to properly structure your day.

Take care of yourself and be healthy!
