More than 900 thousand residents of the Lipetsk region have already been vaccinated against COVID-19
Vaccination is the most effective preventive measure for COVID-19. It reduces morbidity and mortality, increases life expectancy in general, improves the quality of life in many chronic diseases, prevents hospitalization.
To date, almost 918.8 thousand people have completed vaccination against COVID-19 in the region, of which more than 205.4 thousand people have already received a repeated dose of the vaccine.
For those who find it easier and more comfortable to receive the vaccine in the form of a nasal spray, an intranasal method of administering the vaccine "Gam-COVID-Vac" ("Sputnik V") is available in the Lipetsk region. Nasal vaccine protects against all strains of coronavirus. Nasal vaccination is done twice with an interval of 21 days for citizens from the age of 18 and only with revaccination. More than 13 thousand people have already been vaccinated in this way
Where to get vaccinated?
Vaccinations against COVID-19 are done in all state polyclinics in the region. Along with the work of stationary points, mobile vaccination points also work. At the moment, there are 60 such points in the region, where specialists carry out vaccination of the population in a "first-come, first-served" format.

For vaccination against a new coronavirus infection, residents of the Lipetsk region can enroll, not only by calling the polyclinic at their place of residence, but also through the portal "Public Services". Then you need to choose the service "Make an appointment with a doctor". Even if a person is not registered on the portal, he can register via a mobile phone.
Who needs to be vaccinated?
Immunization against coronavirus infection is primarily subject to persons belonging to the category of high risk of the disease:
- medical workers;
- employees of educational institutions, social services, transport enterprises and energy, law enforcement officers;
- persons with chronic diseases, including diseases of the bronchopulmonary system, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, obesity;
- persons subject to conscription for military service;
- state civil and municipal employees and other categories of persons.
Before vaccination, a mandatory examination of a doctor is required with temperature measurement, collection of an epidemiological history, saturation measurement, examination of the throat, on the basis of which a specialist doctor determines the absence or presence of contraindications to vaccination.
