The harm of abortion to women's health
Not every woman who decides to have an abortion knows that this procedure will bring much more harm than good. An abortion performed in the past can cause almost any form of infertility in the present. But in addition to medical problems, there is a great danger of psychological consequences.
It is known that such a decision is unnatural and causes psychological trauma to a woman, but abortion also causes irreparable damage to women's health. A woman who goes for an abortion does not think about the fact that she can permanently deprive herself of the happy opportunity to become a mother... And do not rely on the wonders of modern science, which allows conception in a test tube. The harm of terminating a pregnancy is truly overwhelming! The woman's body experiences a shock, as all the organs and systems that are tuned to the development of the embryo, after its removal, experience "confusion".
Everyone knows that with the onset of pregnancy, a complete restructuring of the body begins at the same time, especially with regard to the nervous and hormonal systems. With a sharp termination of pregnancy in these systems, there is a failure of the nervous and hormonal plan, which can not pass unnoticed for the entire body as a whole. First of all, this affects the menstrual cycle and the work of the ovaries. But, in addition to the ovaries themselves, there is a violation in the work of such important organs as the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, pituitary gland. There is an imbalance of hormonal, immune, renal-hepatic functions, regulation of blood pressure, and the volume of circulating blood. The woman becomes irritable, sleep worsens, fatigue increases. That is, there is an "ideal state" for the penetration of any infection that provokes the development of infectious and inflammatory diseases. The result of inflammation of the appendages of the uterus is most often an obstruction of the fallopian tubes. In such a situation, a woman is not immune from ectopic pregnancy or infertility. Ovarian dysfunction due to abortion can become chronic and also lead to infertility.
In addition, blind scraping of the uterine mucosa during a medical abortion often leads to microtraumas: thinned areas that are not sufficiently saturated with blood occur, and scars are formed. All these changes disrupt the normal nutrition of the embryo during subsequent pregnancy. Hence malformations, miscarriages, or premature births
After an abortion, a woman's body is particularly susceptible to infection from the outside. In addition to the fact that the cervix can be infected, infectious and inflammatory diseases can also begin in the uterine cavity. These disorders, as well as the medications used during the operation, can cause significant damage to the vaginal microflora, which in turn will again weaken the local immunity, exposing all the reproductive organs to danger. Thus, inflammation of the appendages, namely the part of the fallopian tube, can lead to tubal obstruction, and this already threatens a high risk of ectopic pregnancy in the future or tubal infertility.
Any woman should remember that abortion will inevitably leave consequences that are detrimental to women's health.
