            Postpartum boards are 1-2-bed placements of a block type – that is, in one ward there are 1 or 2 women with their newborns, universal changing tables with bedside tables and sinks for washing newborns. One block includes 2 wards. Each unit has its own bathroom with shower.  Each ward is equipped with oxygen supply, emergency lighting, and a call button for a medical professional. A refrigerator for storing all the transferred products is located in the corridor of the unit or in the general corridor connecting all the blocks of the postpartum wards, a kettle and a microwave oven for heating food is located in the centralized dining room of this department.
            The difference between postpartum wards for a comfortable stay is that they have a TV, a kettle, and a hair dryer. The refrigerator is located directly in the ward. Also, the services of a comfortable service stay in the postpartum department include single accommodation in the ward with a visit to the woman in the postpartum period by close relatives.
