Free telemedicine became available to Lipchans
Since March, residents of the Lipetsk region can turn to general practitioners from the comfort of their homes. Remote consultations are included in the system of compulsory medical insurance (CHI), and therefore are free of charge. Doctors of the medical company "Doctor near" conduct online receptions.
The Health Department of the Lipetsk region and the telemedicine service "Doctor Near", which is part of the VEBVentures portfolio, provided Lipchans with the opportunity to receive remote medical consultations. This will reduce the burden on internists, reduce live queues in medical institutions, and thus make medicine more accessible and reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus.
Patients of 29 polyclinics and hospitals in the region can receive remote medical consultation.
Online consultations can be received by patients with ARVI or COVID-19 who have passed the initial face-to-face appointment and examinations and who have already been diagnosed. Dynamic monitoring of the condition of patients with chronic diseases will also be carried out online. In other words, you can remotely undergo repeated appointments and maintain communication with the therapist.
"The inclusion of remote medical consultations in the MHI system will allow residents of the Lipetsk region to receive high-quality medical care, regardless of their location. This service is becoming more and more popular in our country. The integration of telemedicine into the system of compulsory health insurance is an important step in the development of healthcare, " said Denis Shvetsov, General Director of Doctor Near.

More information about telemedicine services for CHI will be provided by attending physicians during an in-person appointment or as part of a home visit. Patients will be provided with memos with a detailed description of the algorithm for obtaining remote medical care.
