Immunization against coronavirus infection continues in the region
On December 16, the vaccine was delivered to the Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 4. On this day, get vaccinated against 50 people were able to get coronavirus infection: medical workers of the Lipetsk Regional Blood Transfusion Station, the Lipetsk City Hospital No. 3 Svobodny Sokol, the Lipetsk City Children's Hospital, as well as teachers from 6 schools cities of Lipetsk.
The vaccine was brought to the clinic in special thermocontainers and on specialized transport for the delivery of the vaccine, equipped with a freezer. This allows you to ensure delivery in compliance with all the requirements of the cold chain.
The vaccine is obtained at will, but there are certain restrictions: age from 18 to 60 years, no diseases coronavirus in the last six months, and for women – the absence of pregnancy.
The vaccine is administered twice, at intervals of 3 weeks. The first application of the vaccine will last until December 25, and the second - in 2021 from 05 to 15 January.
In total, in 2020, 10 points are planned for the immunization of workers from risk groups on the basis of four polyclinics, serving the adult population of Lipetsk, two polyclinics of Yelets, as well as four districts of the region (Terbunsky, Lebedyansky, Usmansky, Gryazinsky).
The first batch of the coronavirus vaccine was delivered to our region in mid-October 2020: 42 doses were received used for the immunization of medical workers in infectious diseases hospitals and PCR diagnostic laboratories.
On December 13, our region received another 800 doses of vaccines to immunize at-risk groups: 660 of them will be received by health workers and 140-teachers. By the end of the year, the region is waiting for another batch of the vaccine. In total, as part of a large-scale vaccination in 2020, in The Lipetsk region should receive 986 doses of vaccines.
According to the approved plan for the organization and implementation of vaccination of the population of the Lipetsk region in 2021, immunization it will be conducted in all 29 polyclinics in the region that serve the adult population.
