The region continues to vaccinate adults against influenza and SARS

On the eve of the next seasonal increase in the incidence of influenza and SARS, vaccination of the adult population continues in medical institutions in the region. To get vaccinated, every resident of the Lipetsk region can contact the polyclinic at the place of attachment. Vaccination of employees is also carried out at many enterprises.

On October 31, 2019, according to tradition, employees of the health Department of the Lipetsk region took part in the annual vaccination against influenza and SARS.

The first vaccination was made by the head of the regional health department, Yuri Yuryevich Shurshukov, who noted that the multi-component composition of modern vaccines allows not only to prevent influenza, but also provides the necessary level of protection against other respiratory viral infections.

Every year, fewer and fewer citizens refuse vaccinations, because people really evaluate the effectiveness of vaccination. This is the most reliable and effective way to protect against influenza and SARS. The vaccine can be given to everyone, children-starting from six months, pregnant women and especially the elderly after 60 years, suffering from chronic diseases. Also, vaccination must first of all cover the able-bodied population of the following industries: medical workers, employees of education and public utilities, employees of trade enterprises, public catering and services.
