The alley "Mothers of Russia" is open in our center»

The grand opening of the alley "Mother of Russia" and the symbolic stele with the same name was held at the new building of the Lipetsk Perinatal Center. Here, under the windows of the building, 39 lime trees were planted – a traditional symbol of the region.

The opening ceremony was attended by honorary guests of the city and the region, representatives of public organizations, doctors and mothers.

- The appearance of such an alley is a common merit. The place for this is not chosen by chance. After all, it is in this building that children are born. We hope that every woman will definitely visit here more than once. It is not for nothing that they say that the well-being of the country is determined not by the number of cars, but by the number of strollers, " Lyudmila Letnikova, Deputy head of the regional administration, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. – On behalf of the head of our region Oleg Korolev, I would like to express my gratitude to all the residents of the region who work to strengthen the family.

The opening of the alley took place within the framework of the regional public action "I was born!", which is aimed at encouraging young families to have children.

Valentina Petrenko, a member of the Federation Council and chairman of the Mothers of Russia movement, was also present at the ceremony. She noted that the perinatal center is the best place on the Lipetsk land.

- Dear women, thank you very much for your work. Thanks to you, we have the opportunity to have the greatest happiness in life – children. Don't be afraid to give birth. You can't imagine how happy it is to see large families. I am sure that soon a large park will grow on the site of this alley. And every tree planted here will remind mothers of the miracle that happened to them, " said Valentina Petrenko.

After the official greetings, the honored guests, doctors of the center, young mothers and pregnant girls planted a lime alley in honor of all the mothers of the region. Now each of them will have a" different " tree.

We also announced at the opening some of the results of our perinatal center, which, we recall, opened in July 2016.  In almost 12 months, doctors have delivered more than four thousand births within our walls. Thanks to modern equipment, the center has an opportunity to care for premature babies from 500 grams. The percentage of children born was more than 87 percent.
