From March 24 to April 24, 2019, a month dedicated to the World Tuberculosis Day is held. The purpose of the month is to draw public attention to the problems with the disease, to inform the population about prevention measures, to form responsibility for their health and the health of loved ones.

Prevention of pneumococcal infection
Pneumococcal infection is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the most serious public health problems. According to statistics, pneumococcus (S. Pneumoniae) is caused by up to 70% of all pneumonias, about 25% of otitis media, 5-15% of purulent meningitis, about 3% of endocarditis. One of the directions of the project was the holding of a mass regional preventive action "Healthy Generation" in the districts of the Lipetsk region.
