About the principles of a healthy lifestyle for schoolchildren of Lipetsk organized interactive classes

Throughout March 2021, specialists of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention conducted thematic hours and game programs for primary and secondary school students of MBOU Secondary School No. 36.

The purpose of interactive classes is to form the attitude of children and adolescents to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent bad habits.

As part of the events, students were told about the basic principles of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a playful way. Students learned a lot about physical education and sports, proper nutrition and healthy sleep, personal hygiene and hardening procedures, as well as vaccine prevention.

The children took an active part in a warm-up session with riddles about useful and harmful habits, as well as in a physical training session, where they performed exercises with great pleasure together with the instructor of the Center.

Medical specialists noted that it is necessary to find an alternative to bad habits: to play sports and attend additional clubs and sections.

Students could learn about the dangers of alcohol and tobacco from thematic cartoons. Using a clear example, the students were convinced that smoking causes irreparable harm to health, killing almost all organs. For a child, watching such animated films is much more effective and understandable than just talking.

Regular work with the younger generation to promote healthy lifestyle and prevent socially significant diseases is one of the main formats of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention.

Interactive lectures, video lectures, "islands of health", game programs, promotions and flash mobs-all these and other events are aimed at forming a responsible attitude of each child to their health.
