Holding of the 4th Winter Sports Contest of medical workers of the Lipetsk region
On February 9, 2018, the 4th Winter Sports Contest of medical workers of the Lipetsk region was held in the ski family complex "HILLPARK".
The event was attended by the Deputy head of the administration of the Lipetsk region L. I. Letnikova, the head of the LOO "Association of Medical Workers" S. A. Shinkarev and other guests of honor.
From year to year, the Sports Contest is held to promote and promote physical culture, sports and a healthy lifestyle among employees of medical institutions of the Lipetsk region and to form the corporate spirit of employees of the healthcare industry.
This year, 21 combined teams from 50 medical organizations took part in the competition. More than 300 people competed in the following disciplines:
- cross-country skiing,
- ice hockey (doubles competition),
- ice hockey (team competition),
- winter darts,
- curling (Russian bast shoes),
- tubing.
As the deputy head of the region Lyudmila Letnikovanoted, "holding such events is a good reason for every doctor to once again remind patients that the main criterion for maintaining health is physical activity. In addition, the Sports Contest gives the doctors themselves a charge of cheerfulness and good mood, as well as the opportunity to spend time in the fresh air and prove to others that only in a healthy body – a healthy mind!"

All the winners in the individual and team competitions were awarded with diplomas. In addition, the Lipetsk Medical College prepared concert performances for all participants of the event, and the Association of Medical Workers of the Lipetsk Region provided those present with delicious pies and hot tea.
