The field action "School of Health in the Workplace" took place at the I.A. Bunin Yelets State University.

Within the framework of the field action "School of Health in the Workplace", medical workers of the Health Center of the Yelets City Hospital No. 2 visited the Institute of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technology of the I.A. Bunin Voeletsky State University. More than 50 students and teachers of the university took part in the action.

In order to identify risk factors for the development of chronic non-communicable diseases, medical workers conducted a comprehensive medical examination of the participants of the event.

The complex of the examination included: questionnaire, anthropometry (measurement of height and weight), examination on cardiovisor and pulse oximeter devices, vision check, blood pressure measurement, express analysis for cholesterol and blood glucose. In addition, the doctor for medical prevention was examined for the presence of diseases of the oral cavity.  

As part of the campaign, the nurse of the smoking cessation cabinet held an island of health "About the dangers of smoking". Teenagers learned how to protect their lives from addictions and make a choice in favor of health, giving up bad habits.

All visitors of the action received preventive counseling, as well as booklets on the prevention of overweight, the dangers of smoking, alcoholism, cardiovascular diseases, including stroke and neurological diseases, promotion of the principles of healthy eating and healthy lifestyle.

It should be noted that such events arouse constant interest among participants and inspire participants with the idea of leading an active, safe lifestyle. For the organizers, this is another opportunity to emphasize the importance and significance of preserving the main resource of humanity — health.

In total, in 2022, medical workers of Yelets City Hospital No. 2 carried out 4 trips and examined about 200 people as part of the "School of Health in the Workplace" campaign.
