About 5 thousand studies were carried out on the new ultrasound machine during the year in Yelets City Hospital No. 2

In 2021, the ultrasound diagnostic system "ULTRASOUND-Electron" was purchased at the polyclinic of the Yelets City Hospital No. 2 at a cost of about 4 million rubles. Modern equipment was acquired thanks to the project "Modernization of primary health care".

In 2022, about 4 thousand people were examined with the help of an ultrasound diagnostic system and about 5 thousand studies were conducted.

The ultrasound machine has a wide range of applications: abdominal, vascular and cardiological studies are carried out with its help in the polyclinic. The system is also used in pediatrics, neonatology, obstetrics and gynecology, in the analysis of the musculoskeletal system, small and superficial organs, etc.

The advantage of the unique system is the ability to process data without additional demodulation, which makes it possible to maximize the clarity and contrast of the resulting image. The images and protocols obtained on the ultrasound machine can be saved to USB, DVD, and sent via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

There are 2 qualified specialists working in the polyclinic of the Yelets City Hospital No. 2 with an ultrasound diagnostic system.

 "I would like to note the high quality of visualization, a sensitive doppler that quickly catches blood vessels, an accessible menu, convenient navigation, a fairly simple and ergonomic touch panel that allows you to quickly find the necessary functions," says I.S. Levshina, a doctor of ultrasound diagnostics.

It is worth noting that in total, within the framework of the program "Modernization of the primary health care of the Lipetsk region" in 2021, 21 ultrasound machines worth about 100 million rubles were purchased in the polyclinics of the Lipetsk region.
