Since the launch of the federal project "Doctor Near", more than 700 residents of the Lipetsk region have received telemedicine consultations
Since March 2021, the Health Department of the Lipetsk Region, together with the Doctor Near medical company, has launched a project to provide telemedicine assistance to residents of the region. Remote consultations are included in the system of compulsory medical insurance (CHI), and therefore are free of charge. Doctors of the medical company "Doctor near" conduct online receptions.
This step made it possible to reduce the burden on internists, reduce live queues in medical institutions, which means making medicine more accessible and reducing the risk of the spread of coronavirus.
Patients of all polyclinics serving the adult population and hospitals in the region can receive remote medical consultation.
Online consultations are provided to patients with acute respiratory viral infections or COVID-19 who have undergone an initial face-to-face appointment and who have already been diagnosed. Dynamic monitoring of the condition of patients with chronic diseases is also carried out online. In other words, it is possible to undergo repeated appointments remotely and maintain communication with the therapist.
At the end of the remote dynamic observation, as well as in the case of a deterioration in the state of health that requires a doctor's examination, the patient is sent to a face-to-face appointment.
A telemedicine consultation takes place for the patient in the same way as a face-to-face one. The telemedicine doctor collects complaints, gives his recommendations and supports the motivation for the patient's recovery. If necessary, the telemedicine doctor recommends that the patient call a doctor at home or contact the emergency medical service. In order to get the help of a specialist, the patient must register. You can do this both on a computer and using a mobile application.
"Such remote medical consultations allow residents of the Lipetsk region to receive high – quality medical care regardless of their location, such integration of telemedicine into the healthcare system is certainly an important step in this area," said Deputy Head of the administration of the Lipetsk Region Ilyin A. I.

Patients will be provided with memos with a detailed description of the algorithm for obtaining remote medical care.
