Say no to drugs
Drugs are chemicals of plant or synthetic origin that can cause a change in the mental state, the systematic use of which leads to addiction.
Drug addiction is a disease caused by dependence on a narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.
As a result of drug use, mental and physical dependence is formed. The rate of addiction formation and its severity can be different: age, frequency of use, body characteristics affect.
What are the consequences of drug use for the human body, his health?
- Huge risk of HIV and hepatitis infection;
- liver and brain lesions;
- decreased immunity and, as a result, susceptibility to infectious diseases;
- venous diseases;
- destruction of teeth due to calcium metabolism disorders;
- impotence;
- a decrease in the level of intelligence;
You have to pay for the artificial "acceleration" of the body: after the cessation of the drug, there is a state of apathy, depression, severe fatigue, drowsiness. This condition can last for several days, as the body needs to restore the spent forces, without a portion of poison, a person is not capable of productive activity. Over time, "swapping" is required to perform quite normal work.
Consumption leads to physical and nervous exhaustion, the body's resources are quickly exhausted. The nervous system, heart, and liver suffer greatly. Prolonged use leads to dystrophy of internal organs. Drugs affect the genetic code and future offspring. Mental exhaustion leads to severe depressions, up to suicide.
How to say "No" to drugs?
We often encounter so-called "tempters" who offer us obviously dangerous things, they tell us: "It's okay," or "Just try it."
If you are persuaded to try drugs:
- say a clear "No";
- don't try to come up with "valid" reasons and justify yourself. This will only provoke and provoke further persuasion;
- categorically refuse to continue the conversation on this topic.
If your firm "No" provoked an attack by criticism, do not concentrate on what was said to you. The main mistake is an attempt to argue your refusal.
Your clear and confident "no" to taking drugs is the true manifestation of the independence and position of an adult.
