Preventive action for students of secondary schools in Lipetsk and pupils of children's health camps "I know, I act, I live!»

On September 18, 2019, a preventive action "I know, I act, I live!" was held in the Moscow State Educational Institution "Lyceum No. 3 named after K. A. Moskalenko"in Lipetsk.

Within the framework of the campaign, information platforms organized by regional medical institutions worked. At the site of the Lipetsk Regional Center for Medical Prevention, everyone took an interactive survey on the signs of stroke and the procedure for taking action in case of their manifestation, and also took part in a quiz on proper nutrition and got acquainted with printed products for the prevention of socially significant diseases. Instructors of the Regional medical and physical Culture dispensary told the participants of the action about the prevention of inactivity and held a master class on the organization of physical exercises at home.

In addition, the children could consult and take a survey on the knowledge of the main methods of prevention of HIV infection and AIDS, infectious skin diseases and sexually transmitted infections. Also, for all comers, the concentration of carbon monoxide in the exhaled air was measured on a smokelizer and the level of oxygen saturation on a pulse oximeter, and the skin was examined on a dermatoscope.

Then the specialists of the largest medical organizations of the region held lectures on the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of socially significant diseases:

• doctors of the Regional Perinatal Center organized an interactive lecture on the prevention of abortions and the preservation of the reproductive health of the younger generation;
• specialists of the Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases held a video lecture on the prevention of HIV infection;
• doctors of the Regional Drug Treatment dispensary organized a lecture hall with elements of an interactive conversation on the topic of smoking, alcohol and addiction to surfactants;
• doctors of the Regional skin and venereal dispensary organized an interactive lecture on the prevention of infectious skin diseases;
• The Regional Center for Medical Prevention held an information and educational program "Multi-Abc of Health", in which students were told about physical activity, proper nutrition, hardening procedures, work and rest regime, vaccination prevention and other components of a healthy lifestyle;
• specialists of the Regional medical and physical Culture dispensary held a lecture on physical activity and prevention of hypodynamia.

The main direction of the campaign is to conduct interactive lectures on the prevention of abortion, the use of surfactants, HIV infection, infectious skin diseases and the work of interactive platforms with consultation and distribution of printed products among students on the following topics: promotion of healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, prevention of HIV infection, tobacco smoking, alcoholism, STIs.
