GUZ "Lipetsk Regional Perinatal Center" and GUZ "Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 1" received the first certificates of compliance with the requirements of the system of voluntary certification of medical organizations "Quality and safety of medical activity".
On September 09, 2021, a solemn presentation of certificates of a pilot project for the implementation of the system "Quality and safety of medical activities" took place in the assembly hall of the Regional Children's Hospital polyclinic.
The initiator of the project, which has been operating in the region since April 2018, is the Health Department of the Lipetsk Region, the curator is the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Institute of Quality" of Roszdravnadzor.
The main objectives of the project:

to form a competently built system of internal quality control and safety of medical activities in state medical organizations, ensuring the rights of patients to receive affordable medical care of the necessary volume and appropriate quality;

to increase the level of satisfaction of the population with medical care provided in state medical organizations of the region;

to form a new model of a medical organization functioning on the principles of lean production with an effectively formed logistics of patient flows, standardized medical and diagnostic processes, and a high level of competence of medical personnel;

effectively use the material and technical base, personnel and financial resources in a medical organization.
Nine state medical organizations were included in the project: GUZ "Lipetsk Regional Clinical Hospital", GUZ "Lipetsk Regional Perinatal Center", GUZ "Lipetsk Regional Oncological Dispensary", GUZ "Yelets City Hospital No. 1 named after N. A. Semashko", GUZ "Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 1", GUZ "Regional Children's Hospital", GUZ "Lipetsk Regional Clinical Center", GUZ" Yelets Children's City Hospital", GUZ" Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 7".
The first medical institutions that successfully implemented all the requirements of the project were the Lipetsk Regional Perinatal Center and the Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 1. The representatives of these organizations were awarded certificates by the deputy head of the Health Department of the Lipetsk Region, O. A. Taskina, and the expert of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Institute of Quality" of Roszdravnadzor, O. V. Kulikov.
As a result of the implementation of the project in the Lipetsk Regional Perinatal Center, inefficient financial costs were reduced, a rational approach to drug therapy and clinical and laboratory examination of patients was introduced, the turnover of beds was increased, standard operating procedures and algorithms for the main processes of medical activity were developed, internal clinical protocols for the profiles "obstetrics" and "neonatology"were introduced.
The level of coverage of the population with medical examinations and preventive examinations has increased in the Lipetsk City Polyclinic No. 1, the workplaces of employees have been optimized, standard operating procedures and algorithms for providing medical care have also been developed, effective resource use has been established, continuity with other medical organizations of the Lipetsk region has been established.
