A webinar on topical topics was held for specialists in hygienic education of the Lipetsk region.

On August 18, 2021, an online seminar was held, organized by the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention together with the Regional Children's Hospital and the Lipetsk Regional Drug Treatment Dispensary.
More than 25 specialists of medical prevention offices (departments) of the Lipetsk region took part in the remote event.
 
During the webinar, the participants discussed the organization of preventive measures for the All-Russian Sobriety Day, and also touched upon such an urgent topic as the prevention of child injuries.
One of the leading speakers of the online seminar was the head of the department of medical prevention of the Lipetsk regional Narcological Dispensary Elena Anatolyevna Ivanova. The topic of her speech was the organization of preventive measures dedicated to September 11 – the All-Russian Day of Sobriety.
 
Elena Anatolyevna spoke about the importance of carrying out measures to prevent alcohol consumption in labor collectives. Specialists in medical prevention were recommended to conduct conversations, lectures, and distribute printed products in the health care institutions of the region. Also, in modern life, it is necessary to widely use the possibility of using Internet resources for preventive work: posting videos, articles, posts, cards on the prevention of alcoholism on the official websites of institutions and groups in social networks.
 
The second speaker was an orthopedic traumatologist, head of the operating unit of the GUZ "Regional Children's Hospital" Alexander Pashentsev with an equally relevant topic - "Prevention of child injuries in the summer". He noted the need for systematic training of children in the basics of injury prevention. It is important not to develop feelings of timidity and fear in the child, but, on the contrary, to inspire him that danger can be avoided if he behaves correctly. In the summer, children spend a lot of time without adult supervision, most of the time being outdoors, so the risk of injury increases.
 
At the end of the seminar, all participants could ask questions on the topic of interest to them.
 
Currently, due to the unstable epidemiological situation, most educational events in the region are organized in a remote format. Such a format of preventive work is actively used by specialists of the Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention: online seminars on the prevention of various diseases and the rejection of bad habits are regularly held in the region. This allows us to continue the continuous informing of the population of the Lipetsk region on the issues of preserving and strengthening health.
