Children's medical institutions in Lipetsk received new equipment for ultrasound

Modern ultrasound devices with a total amount of more than 20 million rubles were delivered to the children's polyclinics of the Lipetsk City Children's Hospital as part of the implementation of the regional program "Modernization of the primary health care of the Lipetsk Region" and in order to achieve the indicators of the national project "Healthcare".

Modern equipment allows you to carry out the entire existing range of ultrasound diagnostics, including ultrasound of the heart. The devices immediately began their work: as part of a routine examination of patients of children's polyclinics in our city, they are used to conduct examinations of the abdominal cavity, pelvic organs, heart and blood vessels. Their admission will significantly simplify and improve the quality of diagnostics, which in turn will allow detecting diseases at early stages, prescribing treatment in a timely manner and monitoring young patients.

"The new equipment is only part of the overall development program. It includes various activities, including a convenient and effective arrangement of children's polyclinics. Thanks to federal projects and regional programs, we are systematically updating the material and technical base of the institution, which increases the level of disease diagnosis and medical care," said Sergey Mikhailovich Demin, chief physician of the Lipetsk City Children's Hospital.

Currently, the Lipetsk City Children's Hospital includes 7 city children's polyclinics serving more than 70 thousand children, round-the-clock and day hospitals.

In particular, the children's polyclinic No. 1, which also received a new ultrasound machine, is located in a detached building with an area of almost 2000 sq.m. in the city center with a developed infrastructure. The polyclinic is equipped with 30 automated workplaces with Internet access, constant video surveillance is conducted. The registry makes an electronic record to doctors of different specialties, self-recording is possible via the Internet.

In all polyclinics of the Lipetsk City Children's Hospital, offices of a healthy child are organized, a clinical and diagnostic laboratory, ECG, functional and ultrasound diagnostics, endoscopy, X-ray rooms work.

Physiotherapy, methods of physical therapy and massage are widely used. In the Center for the Protection of Vision, children with visual impairment and strabismus are treated with modern devices.

The work of specialist doctors is carried out in two shifts. Narrow specialists conduct admission in all major specialties.
